Knowingly juxtaposed,
the daystar breathes light
as lunar's crescent wears cloak of
night dreams.
In spheres of circular motion
they dance
and side by side
circumference the planet,
embracing mere mortals
within their fine, celestial orbit.
Lovers of time and space,
king and queen of this earth,
soulmates within a lonely universe,
their enduring juxtaposition
transcends meagre thought.
