I cannot find a prompt to prompt my silliness, it seems
perhaps I'll wallow here a while in mind created dreams
where stubbing toes and custard pies
might splatter someone in the eyes
it might surprise groups of crazy guys
or even ones we might think wise
but aren't
if I were Spongebob I'd wet my pants
were I Big Bird I'd have to prance
(I'd be so tall)
above it all
could look at the world as one big ball
of fun
I'm neither Bob or Bird so Big
and cannot dance a simple jig
and poetry escapes me some
especially when I'm feeling glum
without a prompt I'm penning blind
I'm blabbering as if I've lost my mind
when you're ready I propose
you DQ this piece of crappy prose
