You Want Me to do What?

With borrowed pen I write this stupidness,
I can’t believe I’m writing this at night.
The moon is dim and we don’t have a light.
Your damn pen leaks and really made a mess.

You made me write this sonnet in duress;
These words I pen by moonlight make me squint.
There's no way that this crap will go to print,
The damn pen that you gave me made a mess.

The ink is dripping on my brand new dress,
I think this crap has gotten in my hair.
You’ve kept me in the dark and that’s not fair,
You’re such an ass, you made me make a mess.

With borrowed pen I write this stupidness,
Your damn pen leaks and really made a mess.

    I love how you've taken the prompt in a very unexpected direction.

    The structure is great, and I noticed the 10 syllable count in your verses. Very clever. Best of luck in this month's challenge.

    Very funny! The quote is rather romantic, what with the moonlight, and your realism set it very humorously straight.
