what do you want





it's hard to stay honest
without writing the same damn thing
over and over again.
because
really, not much changes.
the pieces may even sit together nicely,
your predictions may fall into place
quite accurately
and yet
it doesn't
hold any
purpose.
people tell you
oh
it will start to mean something
someday
once everything has been fucked up
and then renovated
a few more times,
once
you've had to replace
even the furthest of your insides
with whatever scraps are nearest.
i am so
scared of the possibility
that they are
telling me the truth.

    you do this so well.
    make something so obvious seem minute and something that everyone else misses. it's like you can write about anything and make it seem blunt, unassuming, but yet so real and raw and just damn (i hate to say it so lamely) fresh.
