Finally Happy

A woman thats's been hurt so bad,
can only come back stronger,
yes she once loved you,
but that love is no longer.

She had no tears left to shed for you,
she walked away with her head held high,
this was your choice to do this,
it was your choice to say goodbye.

Now you want her back,
you say she's the only one,
but she just got started,
she's finally having her fun.

You say you need to talk to her,
you cry to her begging and pleading,
saying for her to come back to you,
but where were you when she was needing?

She remembered all you did to her,
as she looked into your eyes,
it was time she told you the truth,
and her truth caught you by surprise.

She does not love you anymore,
and that woman is me,
yes we were happy together,
once so happily.

but when you said goodbye,
if you only knew,
that was the time i realized,
im happy without you.
