One Summer

summer went by so fast
we both knew it would never last
trying not to think of September
knowing thatwe would last forever

telling each other all our secrets

trusting each other enough to keep it

 

but time when by and we got closer

the things we did

we don't regret

this new year

has all new feelings

that one girl

i shall never forget

 

i don't want this to ever end

i just trust you as my girlfriend

try to make this last on my own

keep it going until we grow old

lets put summer to rest

and move on and never forget

    Great poem ;D

    One thing though - In the 7th line you say "when", and I think you meant "went".
    But its a very sweet poem and whoever it's about is a very lucky girl (;
