Within the night my darling
our love is the candle whose light never dies,
by its glow you are my goddess, my Venus, my all,
the one who gives the very stars their shine,
that makes my heart burn so intensely
because without your touch,
your fingers to trace their magic upon my skin,
life would fade into oblivion
ever dwelling forever in an igloo of sorrow.
So let me hold you my angel,
carry you upon a voyage in gasps and sighs,
into that private chamber where we shall dance
across that satin floor of our bed,
two bodies enjoying that incredible waltz
where naked steps release the desires in heart
by the power of our match in silky, steamy caresses.
For I will let my lips and fingers
write a sonnet upon your skin,
the beats of our hearts resounding that melody
of all that our togetherness has meant,
each kiss would I share with my soul’s sounds,
from all the flow in what dwells inside,
as a soft, seductive shower of words,
gently raining each thought and sensation
through a cascade of intoxicating droplets
until they immerse you in joy
over all that you have done
to lift me from those dire canyons of sadness
and set me free within your arms.
Now come sweetheart
take my hand for this passage within
tonight it will take us to our private paradise
so I can make every wish come true.
