every time I try to find you, you cannot be found
I look for you blindly, yet you are not around
I miss talking to you, my dearest, sweetest friend
I don't know what has happened, is this the end
I miss your lopsided grin, your charming sweet face
I miss your encouraging words, when I feel out of place
I dream of days gone by, when we would sit and talk
my thoughts find their way to you, as I take this walk
a walk of faith, down an empty road that has no end
along the path I hope to find you there again my friend
to grab a hold of my hand and never let me go
you are the truest friend this woman could ever know

This is a great poem, yet you did not put whom it was for in your notes.
Thank you for entering.

May the sons of your daughters smile upon your face.
May you always have walls for the winds,
a roof for the rain, tea beside the fire,
laughter to cheer you, those you love near you,
and all your heart might desire.
Bless your heart Amanda

Sublimely composed...
