~Veronica's Snow Globe...

Missing image
Inside the globe lies snow covered castle,
walls beaming specs of light there
lived a unicorn.  When shaken - a winter
wonderland came to life.

The unicorn came to life every time
the globe was shakened. There was
always the same girl...A girl whose name
she did not know. She sensed the girl was
troubled crying once again.

What is she to do? For this tiny girl
whom she has no name for...gives her new
life every time the globe is shaken. With
all her might, she raised her magical
horn and grants the girl one wish.

The girl looking into the globe now
had a name, Veronica. Her eyes lightened
as she could see the unicorn looking up
at her.

She stated,"I can see you now and talk
with you!". The unicorn smiled.

Now, Veronica anytime you shake this globe
I will be able to hear you. Veronica
nodded her head, thanking the unicorn for
hearing her.

When troubled or confused, she would shake
globe, and for years to come. She always
had a friend to turn to.

Dedicated to my daughter Veronica
with love your mom

This is jusy so geaorgous and I love the idea of the unicorn coming to life every time the globe was shaken. Such a gentle if not sad little tale about one who sees her friend only in that globe. Truly well done and I thank you so much for entering and wish you the very best in the contest.
