she dances with grace,
with a motion so tantalizing, as leafs in the wind.
yet I know only of her moves and that face.
I know not her name or what lies within.
But I see a soul!
ah yes a soul through swift motions and turns
She will be mine one day
though I know not who it is that I yearn.
her red silk dress twirls so elegantly
her partner in this dance.
following loyally behind each moves
the sudden drops and turns set me in a trance.
She knows not my name.
for I am just a man in front of the stage.
She looks through me with ease.
Continuing on like a singing bird free from its cage.
tonight I am in love.
if for only one night at all.
she is my soulmate,my reason for life.
and so shall she be until the curtains must fall.
