Lake of Tears

I shed tears for my dad that abandoned me and never came back. I shed tears for my mother that couldn't see me nor my brother. I shed tears for the lost of my uncle. I shed tears for the deaths of all those people that died in the Twin Towers, including my family. I shed tears for the many funerals I had to attend. I shed tears when I confide in my dad that I was raped by his friend and he slapped me instead. I shed tears when noone would understand my pain. I shed tears when I mistrusted my friends. I shed tears for my brother when he was sick and couldn't get up. I shed tears when my cause wouldn't stop and I thought I would get drown and never make it to the top. I shed tears for the brother I haven't met. I shed tears when I wonder if my fathers ever thinks of me and remembers that soon I'll be 15 I've shed tears for all those tears that I've shed. We all shed tears for some kind of reason Anywhere or everywhere It's what any human being feels We all side tears And all of ours tears will all meet together

    So sad

    I'm so sorry for all the pain you went through life sometimes doesn't seem fair we all have sorrs and pain we must go through as we walk through life we have seasons of joy as well I hope you find true joy down the road. Life is to short to have so much sorrow God wants you to have joy to it makes Jesus sad to see his children hurt thats why he died on the cross he loves you. Keep on writing this is a journey for all of us. We have to all stick to gether and hold one another up it helps when we can't get everything off our shoulders. Sad but keep writing very well done!

    It is true that we have all shed tears fpr some reason or another. I hate that you got slaped when you told your dad what you told him. This is a sad but deep poem. Thank you for all your reads that means a lot. SH

    A very powerful emotional write. I think anyone can relate to at least part of this. I think the format could use a little work though, maybe broken into stanzas but just my opinion. I really liked the last line best of all
