When a full moon shined upon us
it made a dream come true
Then I made a promise
to share the sun with you
As I place my arms around
the rest of my life
Basking in the love I found
soon to be my wife
I guess that I should thank the moon
for what it had done
A woman who would make me swoon
and want to share my sun
A warmth has come into my soul
that leaves when we're apart
Your the one who fills the hole
in my bleeding heart

a wonderfully done quatrains the flow and imagery if nice and clear the rhyme is simple but in my opinion not vapid or inane This is a well written poem something to be proud of and will make your girl swoon!!!!
