Abnormal

was cold, raining
Wednesday covered in wet leaves
stuck in car tires
clogging sewers
hand prints left on windows
locked out of cars, no umbrellas
sky unclear like results in a doctor's office
clench teeth
clasp the fatty thighs
sitting in a leaky waiting room downtown dim lights
no cries.

it is not uncommon
yet it is plastered with abnormality
it's me,
it's me.

H;
It's not so bad, but I felt like writing something about it.

At least it's not something worse. But I still worry about you.
I like the brevity of this, while it still holds substance. The images in here are very ... hmmm, vibrant. That probably isn't the right word, but I what I'm trying to say is that you capture those days where you're worried sick, and of course it's raining.
I remember when I had one of my side-front teeth pulled, I was mortified. "I'm never going to smile again". I kept crying and crying and crying, waiting for my ride to show up. And of course, it started to rain, and the hole where the tooth was wouldn't quit bleeding. Fucking sucked. Sorry, selfish. Anyway, The piece is really nice, I liked reading it. And I really liked the ending. :-) I hope everything goes well with it.

Ouch, that must have REALLY sucked and yeah, it always rains when you're having a bad day, it's like, meant to be or something. I'm slacking off and not packing. I just remember waiting in the doctor's room for like 45 minutes ... I started to feel sick. It's one thing to wait in the registry area with everyone else but you're all alone in a room with no window, scary images on the walls of breast cancer and cervical cancer ... and you assume the worst because they are taking forever.
