The Story Unfolds

Crystalline dreams of a world so torn and still unborn

Fragile wings so broken and tattered

A beautiful voice that needs to sing and shout

Without a sound, a simple word not uttered

Passing tides continue to give and take

Subdued by only the essence of time and space

What’s the point in believing when there’s only grieving

Breathing in the smoke as so many eyes are a glow

Taking of the waters without understanding what you see

Without a purpose, so they did try to warn us

Fancy dress while others lie in the streets

Those who say they care only mysticize reality

We’ve only lost our way as the story unfolds

What did you think
