The horrors of the holocaust
their faith their only sins
A time when all hope was lost
as Hitlers rein begins
The jewish life was torn apart
in nazi Germany
A war machine with no heart
they took my family
We watched our Fathers and our Mothers
being marched away
We prayed with one another
that they would live another day
There are many a mudden footstep
leading to the oven door
So many tears the children wept
and they kept killing more
I survived the holocaust
but the pain will always stay
From the family that I lost
I watched them being lead away
