If I try, I can imagine
how a perfect world would be...
Calm, yet a true experience
Safe, yet some of the "bad boys" fun
Peaceful, yet wars within you to become better.
In a perfect world…
my children would all be their very best
I would be with the man I truly love
My parents would still be here, healthy and alert
my brother, my angel, would remain in life
full of all the love and goodness he inspired.
My other brother would be talking to me
instead of pretending I don't exist anymore.
In a perfect world…
Wars would not exist
pain would be alleviated
the young would have a better future to look forward to
all digressions would be forgiven
love would be the rule of the day
and
peace, individually and nationality,
would be something we could take for granted.
In a perfect world…
all would be perfect
except the struggle within us to be better still.

Yes, this would indeed be a perfect world -- I was especially touched by the lines wanting your parents and brother still alive and healthy --- the losses never quite go away, do they? And the idea that the only wars should be inside, where we struggle to become better -- that's a great one! Good luck in the contest.
