Raw

Drunk on the malevolent concoction,
upped the shroud, lurking below intimidation;
the outcome hardly matters for the vile,
it’s the game that is being played for a while.

The limelight justifies polished demeanor,
shadows are concealed behind wily actors;
as the lights start fading into oblivion,
glowers the noxious gloom, holding its bastion.

  • This piece was short, but it was not lacking for flow or word choice...Great job...I found this piece very creative and I agree that the imagery was well captured...Thanks for entering it, best of luck in the contest.
