tomorrow’s madness a parting melody
moonlight offerings land and then fly
mother’s enchantments bound at your feet
time floats in memories with evening sighs
piano echoes sail over the earth
ghostly lullaby in a soft-spoken stream
carpimus noctem cum Morpheus
as we search the night with gods of dream
sparks from a life carefully fashioned
a mountain that sleeps on wings of sorrows
burnt castle embers lost among stars
a Christmas day promising loving tomorrows.

As usual, I love what you penned here. I especially liked the lines:
mother’s enchantments bound at your feet
time floats in memories with evening sighs
Maybe because it reminded me of when my mama was there when i was young and how safe she made me feel. I miss that.
Pen on dear one.
