adorned in moonlight's silken fingers
each touch the others' warmth
no sound
fleeting breaths of cloud-laced breezes
send chills to posture's deepest corner
there is no need of fear in this
a quiet repose 'neath covering trees
should dew arrive to quench a thirst
not birthed in love but simple need
these two of hallowed mystical muse
might find their way to valley's floor
or hilltop mesa's blue-green pasture
evening's solitude befitting

I really have to agree with the two people below. This piece was just so beautifully put across, giving a feeling of peace and solitude and an emotional feel of well being. I loved this heaps and thank oyu so much for entering and wish you the very best in the contest. To the finalist list.

Very beautiful imagery! Very sensual. I particularly like the image of a hilltop mesa's blue-green pasture. Well done! Glad the internet cooperated!
