I'm wondering what Psuedopsia means? I don't recognize the word & Wiki doesn't know it either! I love the way you worked mirrored_bororrim - that's bloody fantastic. I would suggest that you use a different means to highlight breaking, perhaps something like:
"break ing"
I also really liked the rainbows imagery - very nice.

Yes it's fine, You were very . . . 'character'y' lol I'm not sure if DP calls for such. . elaboration. HOWEVER to ones own what it expresses you know? And the write, the words themselves, brilliant. I like the last line the best. Great summing it up. Good Luck!
