The Death of an Infant

Can anyone see you?
Do they know you're there?

Can they stretch out to touch you?
Can you feel the air?

Are you awake and cohearent, or painfully bound,
Beaten, devoured or pitied when found?

Do they taunt your existence, with malevolent mirth?
do you feed the great furnace of unspeakable girth?

Do you sail through the skies like a bird on its wing?
Do you fly with the angels and hear as they sing?

And yet... you are such one dispicable thing... No,

You crawl through the dust 'neath the foot of a giant,
writhe through the wastlands unformed yet defiant,
your existance was wasted, not cared for, discarded,

leaving your worldly host, mildly disheartend.

Author notes

I think that in the afterlife, an aborted or terminated child wouldn't suddenly 'be' 5 or so years old, it makes no sence. Either they become reincarnate and become their eternal soul in which it doesn't matter.

Though if you leave weak and without doing anything you must arrive as such...
I just think that people thing of things a little too flowery and emotionally. Sorry, but last time i checked the world isn't a very flowery place, so why should the afterworld be any different? logic = much

P.S. been watchin alot of bleach. soooo ahhh yeah... Hollows

Remember this ^_--

  • Nice...very beautiful words and I think everyone can identify with your questions of the afterlife and reincarnation. No the world is not a flowery place but that does not mean we cannot still find the beauty in it.

    P.S. Bleach is awesome!
