Chapel

Maybe inside some cold New England chapel
I remember everything as white except
the pulpit trim and the plowed snow visible through
a large wall of glass. The sermon was tolerant and wise
but the wind picked up, the weather got bad and
everyone left as soon as he was done.

Please tell me what you think

I plan to revise this poem: please leave constructive criticism!

Good contrast. Mystery form. Also, I wonder if this even happened. If so, it could have happened in New England. Often their chapels are cold and dank.

Only during the week, they heat them on the weekend
