Did you ever have that moment,
Where your favourite song you hated?
Where you regretted every word,
All of them you stated?
Have you ever hated facts,
And how they couldn’t lie?
Where you didn’t even argue,
You didn’t want to try.
Did you ever see it all laid out,
Right there before your eyes.
The truth that burns your insides,
And makes you want to cry?
The words on the computer screen,
That can never be erased.
That scar you and your memory,
You wear them on your face.
The pictures in the hallway,
That steal words from your throat.
Where nothing takes the pain away,
Where nothing helps you cope.
The nagging in the back of your head,
That tells you that your worthless.
That makes you look so desperate,
As your standing for him shirtless.
So if you’ve ever had that moment,
You don’t care about your life.
Smile as you pull the drawer,
And take out a polished knife.
What did you think
