I'm standing all alone
With nowhere else to go
There's no one in my sight
How can I make this right?
Unfortunate it seems
Forced to live in extremes
No way to change the times
I suffer for your crimes
Now watch as all our worlds collide
We're committing mass-suicide
~We are your helpless enemies~
We're the battered and neglected
Abandoned and unprotected
Exhausted and so depleted
Constantly abused or cheated
~There is no sanctuary here~
We are awkward and defective
With our negative perspectives
There is no cure for our problems
When you're the ones that cause them
Our vengeful thoughts you can't detect
Always caught up in retrospect
I'm standing here again
Nowhere no one no when
Sinking beneath the skin
I feel it breaking in
Damning the world to end
Life's pointless in this trend
Everything is temporary
Everyone so solitary
Left to beg for love and pity
Now we beg for Death's sweet mercy
Author notes
Life sucks when you've got no one to rely on even when you're totally surrounded
How sad is it that we can't even count on ourselves to hold it all together?
I'm praying for Armageddon to come save me

A very powerful exposition of loneliness you write with heartfelt integrity of those who feel abandoned. Stanza four is particularly graphic and five you speak so much truth at line twenty two. When there is no where else to go, the lonely often turn to the past, or tear themselves apart. You paint a picture which enlightens the truth with talent, thank you.
