Sands of time could be falling
For all I care
But still, in my eyes,
The world would consist
Of only me and you.
These eyes, that have cried a thousand tears,
Have dulled from your doings,
Have faded almost gone
But still they lighten at first sight of you,
Lighten and almost spark
In hopes you will come back to them,
Come back to me;
Reverse the paths that fate and destiny have woven us into.
But still, these eyes
That are oblivious to everything except for you,
Look away,
Or stare right through you,
Not sparing a second of their time
To look into your eyes
And truly find out
If you do the same thing too....

Talon, I loved this poem. You are realy good at writing poetry, it's always so touching. You are soo sweet.I think you do need a vacation from life rather badly though. It seems to take a rather large toll on you. You seem confused and always have a lot on your mind. This poem and all the other ones you write helps me to see life through your eyes. Well, at least a little... I think you deserve to find someone that can keep your attention for longer than a few months. That would make you happy thus making me happy.
