truth and harmony

Got all the audience of my family in the background
my mind aches from the flu
that hasn't left me for a month,
  but as I stare at the stars
I have learned
  it doesn't matter
all I worried about in life
treasures I thought I needed.

The deepest part of my heart that matters
is what is right in front of our eyes,
because when someone matters so much to you
they will eventually become family
or as close as family.
  Like a second in the breeze
my family runs around and stands before my eyes
like a twighlight in the sun

all the knowledge and riches in the world
does not quench the deepest of desires.

sleeping with death
close encounters with death
as life flashes before your eyes
show in an instant
the deepest most precious truths of the heart.

So as your heart bleeds
and heart's desires are burdened
remember all the fast paced
drawn out life
is not what matters
it just drowns the brain with unnecessary words
not showing the truths
what matters is what lies right in front of your eyes

never stop loving and look closely and what truely matters.
