If ever beauty seemed sublime
'Twas a night when stars aligned
To cast a streaming silver glow
That wakened every poet's soul
Then those once slumb'ring dreamers went
Out towards the sea in merriment
Some sang, some danced, some wrote, some drew
Each yearned to learn his gift so new
They laughed, they sighed, they smiled, they cried
In joy they spent the whole of night
But when the gleaming sun was raised
The poets traveled different ways
And still upon their paths do tread
With eyes upon that starry bed

First off, thanks for introducing me to Vladimir Kush. Wow. Second, very nice write. I could put myself right into the poem, and it felt good. Thanks for a great read!

he's incredible, a modern day Dali!
A very lovely poem, and a wonderful tribute to a very talented artist.
Kudos!

I hoped you would post this, my Friend. It's an elegant and inspired piece, indeed. So that others may enjoy his paintings, I shall leave the link to my column behind. I'm pleased you found something so deep and lovely within his palette.
