Your consciousness becomes mine.
It is a part of me, as you were, dear one.
As you *are*, dear one.
I love you as ever,
For ever...unending, unceasing.
Nothing but love, no fear.
I have no fear,
Because you had no fear.
You approached death, as I would like to approach death.
No pain, no sorrow.
Farewell, dear Chris.
This is me letting you go
It is a part of me, as you were, dear one.
As you *are*, dear one.
I love you as ever,
For ever...unending, unceasing.
Nothing but love, no fear.
I have no fear,
Because you had no fear.
You approached death, as I would like to approach death.
No pain, no sorrow.
Farewell, dear Chris.
This is me letting you go
Author notes
Tribute to the one who inspired the majority of my poems. She is now no longer physically present, but I strongly feel that she is present in spirit. Since April 2007 I have tried to come to terms with her physical absence, but have found it hard. This is another poem to help me move forward.

I like that this is a dedication first off. Secondly, this is definitely a moving tribute to one so loved. I have found that writing is not only healing but cleansing as well. Great write. Thank you for entering and best of luck in the contest. ~gypsy~
