Sick
Insane
Psychotic
I have problems in my life
The same as you
But when you close your eyes
And count to ten
I turn to a blade
Maybe you have a beer
To relax, let it all go
I turn to breaking open my skin
Maybe you go to a club
To have fun, experience new senses
My party is in my mind
Maybe you have never
Felt the sinking of depression
The pull of a knife
Maybe you don't think about your own death
But maybe I do
I'm not different
I have contrasting ideas
Other ways of dealing
I'm not different
Maybe you are
Maybe this is how we all should be
I'm not different
I'm just like you
Can't you see?

Loved it, people always have their opinions lined up about people who are in their eyes 'different. But we are all the same, we just have different ways of dealing with our pain but we all hurt.

I LOVE IT.
You write about something others fail to mention, the fact that maybe us (the ones who are called 'different' , 'freak', 'creeper', 'weirdo', 'insane') are the ones who are 'normal'.
My favorite line had to be the whole,
"My party is in my mind" because that's DEFINITELY something I can relate to. The whole piece was GENIUS. I LOVE IT!!
