I hold one by the hand,
and another on my hip
The other I am carrying
within... and growing.
All three...
I nurture, love and adore
Dreaming the most beautiful,
most wonderful futures there are.
Each day I wake up
thanking God for these blessings
I give my everything,
my very Being...
To teach, to protect
to honour,
to respect
these individuals
who have chosen me
to guide them down
the path of their
life's mission

Oh, Jossie, your description
is truly wondrous, one with
which many of us can identify.
When you look back upon your travel,
when the chldren have grown tall,
you can trust your judgement
as you chose those beautiful words
to detail your mission!!!!
Superb and loving, Joss!

a very lovely entry. a beautiful poem on motherhood. to have more than one child is a chore all in itself. or so i've heard. you also have another one on the way, which can sometimes make raising the ones around you even harder (sometimes). with you raising them right, to have the plan on how to raise them is lovingly evident in this piece. you count your blessings and you see having these children as a blessing and a gift. it's important to have these traits. lovely piece.
thank you for entering my first contest! good luck!
