Just Don't Move Me

They say to bury the past

yet I'm not sure where to dig

the graveyard is already full

Don't bring me tomorrow

I'm not ready

Don't take yesterday

part of me is still there

I don't want to see today

the forcast predicted more rain

Just leave me in this moment

I'm too scared to move

    Short and Sweet

Some of my best writes are only nine lines, but they are my favorite. People tell me I need to expand, but when you leave space for people to imply the meaning and imagine the ending and to read in between the lines it can mean much more. You did a beautiful job of this with this write.

I love this part because it is so concise at yet is so vivid and allows the reader to relate and imply. A beautiful write that leaves the reader thinking. what an amazing poet!

    Heartbreakingly Beautiful.

Wow. This is fucking amazing. All the nights where it's always 3 am in my heart and I exist off hidden frequencies were captured beyond perfection in this piece. I'm not usually a fan of such simplicity, the shortness threw me, but it could not have been more beautifully done. I'm living in the spaces that hold the words together. Thank you for putting a definition to what I've been trying to make my haven. Brava on a great write. Keep up the good work and thank you for entering my contest. I wish you the best in it. Keep Writing.
