the Gift

Finding it
In the last place I looked
Seemed to make sense
But then
What would have happened
If I had kept on?

What if
Being satisfied
With what is found
Isn’t enough
& wasn’t the best thing around

"There is only one left
( they say )
and mine is the best in town"

Well thanks just the same
But I think I’ll just keep looking

What you are selling
May be the best you have
But for me it isn’t enough
For what I had in mind.

    So brilliant without preaching!

One cannot compromise. Taking second best may lead to feeling a first class substitute. Gifts may find you when you do not search in the least.

    Love to you, Donnz.

    Caveat emptor

The odds are we don't really need the "real" one or even the "knockoff".
If we delay the purchase a couple days we will see it would have merely
been an impulse buy and not something we truly need. I relally believe
that 80 percent of everything we have we could do without. The clothes
hang unworn, the books and magazine unread, good china used one
a year, seven suitcases 3 never used, and on and on.

At work they did a cleanup, throwing out everthing that was over 30 days
old it turned out to be over a million dollars in stuff. Luckily they didn't throw
me out at the time about a year ago, but they have tossed me now...lol

would be scary to decide "enough"
for what you "have" had in mind

    no mind is that small
