under the rug the fur-balls grow
waiting for the hoover to suck
or sometimes blow
cobwebs of age and innocence let us know
truth be known
people clean randomly with a duster
thinking of pure thought
kaleidoscopes of nonesense flitter
& flutter through a tired brain
women wander through dining rooms
and flop on slippers
mutter to themselves
about life, love & why we all hate shopping
everyday is a day for somone
even through the gloom
and slow whispers of yesterday
we muster ourselves
together we make wholes
and holes in random thoughts on where to place sunday

the process of ordering our little world, what to do, when to do..how much; even why...all so important in the secret formula for happiness, contentment; balance what we will with what we must...very nicely done here...picturesque

To me; a hidden insult to humanity, well the majority of such. I adore the ending, and even through my interpretation, I feel the assertive incisions slice through. Love it

I agree with Kathleen - actually, there was a petition at one time to get rid of daylight savings time and make it into two Sundays, instead. I'd vote for it.
Lovely work, Gill. Good luck in the contest, Sweetie.

"every day is a day for someone"
Love the ending here. Me, I'd place Sunday right between Sunday and Monday.
You have to, ditch Thursday. It's such a tease.
That's good numb you've got there.
