Broken pieces
Scattered, all around
Blocked door ways
Locked windows
So silent,
Not a sound.

Welcome,
To the dead of night
Where darkness falls
Close our eyes to nothing
As life dies out
Behind the walls.

No touch of heat
Empty dreams
Take over the night
Coldness,
Is all that is felt
In loneliness of time.

The night should be coming to an end
But it seems it can't
The day has gone by,
Incomplete,
Now how can tomarrow ever come

The dead of night killing the time inbetween now and tomarrow
Each empty dream is frozen and locked away with sorrow

Now carry away my dead dreams
That never got the chance to shine
Maybe one day
They may come to life
And be real
