Remember
They started preparing you for life
while you were just a baby
all those lessons were to teach you
to live in this world with or with out them
you didn't realize what they were doing
but they knew and did their job
they taught you love and compassion
and all the things good parents
teach their children
now that they have been
called home you can call on
those things they taught you
to carry on with your life
just remember the things they said
the things they gave you in words
and in their way of living
thank God you had such parents
and follow what they told you
