Welcome to my Nightmare

Waking up in the middle of the night,
swimming in constant agonizing pain,
screaming for someone to help me
yet deafness falls upon my ears.

Demons torture me,
beyond my threshold for pain,
I cower lowly
in the nearest corner.

Surrounded by bright red eyed crows,
defenseless and unable to move,
blood spills from every pore
pooling itself all around me.

My last will and testament
being written with my own blood,
my blood curdling screams
echo mindlessly into the hazy distance.

A sea of red floods my vision,
flames leap and kiss my broken down body.
Evil laughter fills my ears
just before darkness consumes me into its inescapable grasp.

Author notes

This was created after watching Alice Cooper's dvd entitled: Welcome to my Nightmare! I hope this gives you a better glimpse into the mind of this young tiger! Enjoy!!

A glimpse inside this Tiger's mind!

I plan to revise this poem: please leave constructive criticism!

I like how you wrote the 2 first stanza's. for the 3rd one seeping and oozing everywhere doesn't seem to go, maybe you can change everywhere to something else? Apart from that a very good write
