On The Floor

I'm walking down the hall
And there you are.
My heart goes crazy inside my chest
But look who's on your arm.

She looks at you
With those shallow eyes.
It's not her
But your love I despise.

What would it take
For your eyes to reach mine
In a crowded place
Like I'm the one you want to find?
You broke my heart,
And the pieces are crashing on the floor.

I cry to myself
And look in the mirror
I hate the girl that I see

And I long to be held in your arms
To not have her by your side
But instead me.

What would it take
For your eyes to reach mine
In a crowded place
Like I'm the one you want to find?
You broke my heart,
And the pieces are crashing on the floor.

You walk in the room
I can't look away.
An angel stands before me
With all his beauty and grace.

I don't know why
I even hope.
That maybe you're different.
Maybe you wouldn't stoop so low.

You broke my heart.
Here am I

On the floor.
