I can't believe this is the end
I watched you walk away
When you took my heart
I heard it break
I guess we'll never meet again
I have spent my days without you
Since you left I've been so blue
I dream of you every night

And it seems so right

The forest for the trees
And every day is just the same
And all the pleas
I made on bended knees
Just fell on deaf ears once again

At times I don't know what to do
Sometimes I rant and rave

This is a sad and yet, lovely penning, my Friend. There are few things that ache more than the end of a relationship we've invested our hearts in. Nonetheless, this is remarkably lyrical, and I could easily imagine it being sung in a mournful voice. Good luck in the contest, Sweetie.
