Met a transvestite
at my favorite bar.
If he didn’t tell me I swear,
I never would’ve known
and surly would’ve continued
working on him
for some head.
Might have to reevaluate
this whole transvestite thing.
As the clientele there
seems to be changing,
and I don’t seem to be
going nowhere.

great write!!

hah! Some of my best friends are transvestites (transexual, transgendered, gender queer.... ect. ect.) and some of them are amazingly passable... it's like they were born in the wrong body.
Still, that situation..... I'm glad I go every which way. That could be awkward.
You crystallized this moment for me. I am there, and I can feel the heat, the tension of the room. You're brilliant. Seriously.

I love your humor! kinda sad too i guess, like living in a small town where everyone knows your name...lol. but if you can't seem to get out of thetown and it seems like everyone else has, that kinda sucks.
but reevaluating the transvestite thing, arent we going a little too far? lol
awesome piece.

Lively bar you got there, huh? Hilarious, Mike.
You continue to surprise me with the scope and humour of your poetry.
All the best,
Bill
