Despair engulfs my body,
as I listen to them argue.
Trying to block this all out,
but only the worst memories fill my mind.
With tears swelling up, I wish for silence.
Beautiful Silence.
A place of peace, where I can be free from hurt.
A beautiful place.
When shall this end? When will it be over?
When will there be silence?
The yelling tears me apart.
The fighting breaks me down.
Once again I try and block it out,
but it just becomes louder and more harsh.
With tears swelling up, I wish for silence.
Beautiful silence.
A place of peace, where I can be free from hurt.
A beautiful place.
Far away, a place free of despair.
A beautiful place with beautiful silence.

A nicely worded verse with good vocabulary
that suits the taste of the reader.
All the best in my contest
