The Last Day in Hell

This tooth cavity that covers my brain is cracking and the sensitivity is numbing.  Oh how the root needs to be pulled out.  I imagine how it happens, death, by frustration.
There's a pounding in my chest pulsating up to my head and I feel it.  I feel it more than anything.  How does it feel to be frozen in this heat, I do not know, I do not know.
I wish to touch a sky that isn't warmed.  I wish to touch a heart that isn't coal.  I long to know a place that isn't falling apart at the seams, like me.
Like me, this place, it's just like an enemy.  No blues or yellows, just dark and cool.  Dark and cool in this insufferable heat.  My heart, oh boy, how it weeps to be held by something more than this.
The aching is spreading to my frontal lobe.  My eyes are closing in pain.  My eyelids jump from the pounding and all I can hear is diamonds breaking cutting my spine on the way down.  I imagined how it happened, death, by frustration.  Now, just standing still whistling burning throughout my head and all I can picture now is a better place.  One that doesn't burn when wet.

Author notes

So I'm listening to Hello Saferide and just decided to write.
