I see inside your flow,
imaginations that blow,
cream colored visions in
the know
in a world thats black
and white, saturations
of dislike, bathed in innocence,
some wrong, some right
we got to keep it tight,
don't give up before the night,
searching always for the light,
in a realm that's not polite
head up babydoll, discern the
times and you won't fall,
because there's alot in life
to learn, but don't ever get burned
because they don't give
a damn about you,
bless the Lord, you know
it's true
Keep the faith and step
forward into the light,
never let them blur your
sight
fight the good fight
in truth, keep your distance
but don't be aloof, for we are
in a world of many
show the way to those
that are blind, not with lip
service but with your divine,
for good morals are always fine
the rest will take care of itself,
besides there's nothing else,
but to love and be merry, tell them
you heard it straight from Gerry

Very inspiring. If one has faith, nothing can bring the
heart down and in a world where people don't care
about others, there is always one who sits there caring
for us from above. Enjoyed the read

This is Slam poetry....Not rap...Rap is classified as a full sentence flowing into fallowing sentence, If you where to call this a rap piece it would have to be rapid fire (short verse rap) but rapid fire ends with a syllable by incurring a new word. This is a cool poem, just not right for the contest, thank you either way for entering the contest, Sorry if i sound a bit harsh.
