Autumn in Eden

Autumn’s solitary moon, the night’s solemn chill

Freezes and illuminates countless tears.

Smothered beneath decaying foliage

Was once a blooming dream of happiness.

Now, like this season, it withered into a another color

Painted with sorrow’s hue, again I’m expelled from Eden.

Author notes

I haven't written in a very long time so this might not be my best.

    :)

Subtle, delicate images. Love the picture you paint, and the closure is perfect.
