Did her parents ever bother to check with me
about this idea of getting their precious baby,
to learn all about how to use that darn potty
not even noticing when she left the floor spotty!
Tried to not hiss my angst when she soaked my bed
or that time she got in a hurry and went on my head,
why I also tolerated her pooping in my litter box
glad they didn’t blame me for those yellow stained socks!
But a cat can only be expected to take so much
certain things to me are sacred so don’t touch,
when it comes to my tummy that where I draw the line
no way I’m just purring like it is all good and fine!
That kid whizzes any place, which she want to treat as a john
since her parents are so happy they act like she’s a beautiful swan,
just tossing diapers away and strutting around so darn proud
don’t notice she takes dumps wherever when their head in a cloud.
They can be stupid and ignore those messes that they don’t fix
because this is one time I’m going to be sure I end my trouble,
over her deciding to take a leak on my bowl of tasty meow mix,
let’s see how her cereal tastes with some pee drenched cat food rubble!

I always believed that if my cats had opposable thumbs, between the dead bolt and the can opener, they would no longer need my presence at all.
