The guns are silenced, melted down
or rusted lying on the ground.
More research on obscure disease,
backward nations put at ease.
Every village has fresh water,
no longer need to send their daughters
to crocodile infested pools
now they can trip happily to school.
No more Airforce, navy, army
their enormous budget spends quite barmy.
Money for old peoples homes
no one needs to die alone.
No more mud huts, draughty, smelling,
factories churn out standard dwellings.
Recreational drugs are banned
it was getting out of hand.
Gold and metals lost their worth
value now, productive earth.
Rice and wheat are staple measures
more valuable than buried treasure.

Nicely done, it's an "if only" vision, we can but hope.
