lonely child

Missing image
There is so much seclusion,
such painful solitude, inside a loving heart,
she sings such sadness in her songs,
you can hear her calling,
calling for her ever lasting sanctuary,
she cries and weeps untill finally she sleeps,
she dreams her hopes are real,
she awaken in the morning,
only to find her self back where she started,
back to the seclusion of being alone,
a life of dreams is all she really knows.

I loved these two lines. You did an amazing job on this. Good luck in all you do.

Writers are notorious for their self-imposed solitude, which is essential to the art. Still, one must remember, we are a part of this world and we need to not seclude ourselves from its inherent beauty and all it has to offer. Well done, Poet.
