Does anyone truly know God?
I've been trying for years.
Raised a Christian,
Lacking faith and
Always praying under false pretenses.
I spoke to God,
Or what I thought was God,
But he never answered.
I was dragged to different churches,
But they all ended up the same.
The pastor was corrupted and usually into satanism.
How can I have faith and follow blindly,
When 'holy' figures aren't so holy?
When other christians don't practice their faith.

So please,
Tell me...
How do you expect me to know God?

Not my best write. This has been on my mind lately. My mother said I'm breaking her heart. Well mom... How am I supposed to know God?

I'm Athiest and I really enjoyed this poem. Its speaks simply and cleary and I can really relate to it.

God is a title not his name. First you must pray to the true God, and ask Him to reveal himself to you. My God is Jehovah.

that is a good question i guess in the end it is hard to tell...well until the end that is, keep it flowing this one leaves me thinking a while.
