I love those fiery fireworks
showering the beautiful sky
all of the exploding colours
twirling around up high
I love the amazing feel
the firworks display for you
all the glitter and beauty
like the sky cooking a stew
I love that speechless sensation
that loud and powerful noise
sounds just like popcorn popping
for all the girls and boys
I love that look on peoples face
when a firework suddenly appears
some scared, some stunned
and some wrapped in tears
