Dear autumn,
You sucked me of my energy. Left me to wilt slowly like a dying leaf with no value left in the world but to lay flat amongst its only company; shattered remains of what once was beautiful nature, that will forever remain a memory in my mind.
Tested me to my limits, strength was vital. Hope was fading and I had nothing left that could stop me from falling. Autumn, you gave me what I deserved. Punishment after punishment, put down after put down. You made me sink, bury my head under sand that wasn’t really there.
Nights for me now grow darker; pain constantly reminds me I’m not alone. Having you in my presence being around me. Being there. It’s these feelings that make me realise I’m alive. Yet still feeling dead inside...lost in this world.
Captured memories will always be stored of you, it, them. All the past events from you; autumn. I’ll remember them for eternity, never to be forgotten. Autumn I will listen to the screams that haunt me, I will cry at the memories I suddenly stumble upon. Because of you. Autumn
The season that burns my soul and sucks the light right out of my skies. Pushes me down.
Until getting up is no longer an option.

I suppose I among those unique few who actually find autumn to be enervating. The temperature is just right and the colors are amazing. Nonetheless, this is an impressive prose piece, Poet. So, well done.
