Tortured soul, shackled by history
Of Satan’s umbrella wings
Revered by followers of the night.
Taken to unholy ground;
Undefined sacrificial lambs
Ready for slaughter by adorned dagger.
Encrusted with the filth of defilement;
Desperation carried me on the path.
Away from the light, hell beckoned;
Nameless child in a sea of lost souls -
Darkness harbored in my mind.
Shattered alive, disconnected thoughts -
Haggard life penetrable by cutting wounds
And withered faces of past.
Touching burns wasted skin,
Today is no different than yesterday.
Echoes of abusive laughter resound.
Regurgitated words inside my head
Eat my being like Evil’s worms -
Dying from the inside out.
Anguish from childhood cruelty -
Leftover parts clutch desecrated memories
In compartmentalized receptacles of darkness.
Vile theft of heart and soul
Ended days of youth and innocence.

I love it when you open your closet and chose the cloak of the dark genre. You wear it so well! This is truly a captivating acrostic. So many acrostics seem forced but this one flows like silk. The only suggestion I might offer is to not highlight the acrostic. I think it is obvious enough without drawing more attention to it.
